  • ABOUT THE ARTIST
  • ARTIST'S WORK

“While looking at Shmavonyan’s ” paintings, one can see the reflection of Impressionism and Marc Chagall as well. He creates his style using bright palette colours and magical brush strokes, which depict recognizable themes. Among the main topics, he depicts are themes related to the motherland landscape, national festivities, and folk dances in traditional costumes. Shmavonyan is apparently in love with his palette and creates on several canvases at the same time. He is convinced that his painting technique will become popular and accepted. In his artistic trajectory, Shmavonyan is Saryan’s follower”.
