TERZO: Karen Terzyan

Karen Terzyan was born in Yerevan (Republic of Armenia) in 1962.
In 1986, he graduated from the Georgian Polytechnic Institute.

In 1996, he began to work on a metal casting technology that would allow the reproduction of flora species (flowers and plants) into metal, the combination of which would imply the artistic meaning of future works of art. Thus, this direction emerged, in which T. Karen has been creating so far.

The second direction, developed by Karen Terzyan later in 2005, is called “associative” because, while contemplating the works created in this technique, a person most often wants to go deeper and deeper into their own associations provoked by the work given.

Karen Terzyan is a self-taught artist; he did not study in any specialized art institution and did not take private art lessons either. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in various countries.
