Paravon Mirzoyan

In 1975, he graduated from the Ilya Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Leningrad. The same year, he participated in republican, all-union and international exhibitions.

Since 1975 he has been teaching at the Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts, and since 1995 he has been a professor at the Chair of Painting and Composition (Russian Federation).

Since 1976, he has been a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia, 1977-1979. Pensioner of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Since 1989, he has been managing the creative studio of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts.

1989-2002: head of the chair of painting and composition of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts.

2002-2015 was the director of the National Gallery of Armenia.

Member of the Piotrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts of St. Petersburg since 2006

The works of Paravon Mirzoyan are in the museums and private collections of Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, France, India, Syria, and Spain. He had many individual exhibitions in Armenia and different countries of the world. He has won several awards.
